A Talk of Many Things

Never, ever press the F5 key. Cursed thing deleted my painstakingly typed entry.
In any case, my Internet is restored. I knew all along 'twas the router, but no. Churri's computer must have a virus.
I have recently added a new addiction to my already large list: Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I started watching in roughly the middle of Season Four at the urging of a friend. (In reruns on FX, as I have been telling many who protest that "it was cancelled!" Really, it's the only show I watch on that channel. Married with Children? Ugh.) I saw the beginning of the season later, but I happened to watch an episode called "Hush". It was, quite simply, brilliant. After that, I was hooked, as was my sister, now a Spike devotee. (Don't ask me where she found the second season. I'm stil getting the first for my birthday.) The way the series blended horror/drama and comedy, the excellent characters and acting, the lovely intricacies of the universe hooked me. Ah, yes, the characters. I love Spike. Even when he's being unsavory, he's still magnificent in his attitude - always fun to watch, and hilarious to boot. And he's nicely fleshed out, too. Love how he grows to occasionally have these sweet moments. Willow, Anya, Giles and Dawn are faves as well.
I am very irked at my theater teacher. After attending an audition for a play he was directing, he told us he would call to let us know if we made it within two days. Then he goes on a honeymoon and won't be back until a day before rehearsals! Very frustrating.
